Here Kitty Kitty!

What a Saint that Ellen is! When Ellen and her crew set up a 24-hour web cam to capture what goes on after-hours on the set of the show, they were all surprised to see a stray kitty! The Biggest Loser

We’ve teamed up with our good pals over at Bidawee to help their resident cats and dogs keep their New Year's resolution - to eat healthier and to lose weight! Halo has donated $32,000 in canned pet food and over eight weeks, Bideawee's and Halo’s veterinarian staff will monitor the eight kitty contestants and watch as they turn from flab to fab!

When a Hero Comes Along

Ellen never falls short when it comes to recognizing good deeds. This one comes from an 11-year old boy who rescued 4 puppies from a fire and managed to get himself – and the puppies – out unharmed. Ellen rewarded the bravery of young Brandon Wilson with an invitation to be a guest on her show and a year supply of Halo products. Wow!

Helpin' a Fellow Animal Lover Out

We’re so happy Ellen’s on our team. On January, 28th, she had a fellow pet lover on her show who recently lost his job as a beloved television anchor in Colorado. Instead of letting this get him down, he decided to use the opportunity as a chance to follow his dream to be a Veterinarian. 12 year old Mimi Ausland received the ASPCA Kid of the Year Award for creating the Web site FreeKibble.com which generates enough premium food to feed the 4,000 animals cared for annually at the Humane Society of Central Oregon as well as shelters across the nation.
