Halo Says Bow Wow In Beverly Hills - Teams Up With The Amanda Foundation for Special Event
Bow Wow Beverly Hills is an annual fashion show featuring the prettiest pooches in Tinseltown. Benefitting the Amanda Foundation animal shelter, Bow Wow Beverly Hills focuses on ensuring the health of cats and dogs, while working to find the best homes. Alan Kerzner, president of Halo, says “Halo is always committed to the welfare of animals. The Amanda Foundation is at the forefront of those efforts. That just goes to show that no matter who you are or what you are or how big you are, you can make a difference.” Halo made a big difference at the event, giving pre-show makeovers to each of the pets hitting the runway. 12 year old Mimi Ausland received the ASPCA Kid of the Year Award for creating the Web site FreeKibble.com which generates enough premium food to feed the 4,000 animals cared for annually at the Humane Society of Central Oregon as well as shelters across the nation.
